The following command-line mail user agents are provided in Classic Linux:

• Alpine
• Mutt

Each has its own page with instructions for use.

The traditional command line program called mail or mailx is available but is obsolete because it cannot parse maildir format mailboxes. You might still be able to pipe outgoing mail through it, however.
